Dr Perrin completed his medical degree at the University of New South Wales and went on to Cardiology training at St Vincent Hospital in Sydney.

He has an extensive clinical and research background in the management of cardiac rhythm disorders. He completed a PhD in drug-induced arrhythmia before pursuing postdoctoral studies and a clinical arrhythmia fellowship in Ottawa, Canada.

Dr Perrin holds public appointment at University Hospital Geelong and The Royal Melbourne Hospital, and performs procedures at St John of God, and Epworth Geelong.

He has a special interest in the management of atrial fibrillation and its treatment with catheter ablation and manages all cardiac rhythm disorders.

At Royal Melbourne he is a member of the Cardiac Genetic Clinic and Inherited Arrhythmia Clinic, treating Brugada Syndrome, Long QT Syndrome, Arrhythmogenic Cardiomyopathy and other genetic cardiac disorders.
